The Presidency and Agreements with the State: the fifth episode of "The Most Beautiful Life," a series of dialogues on the story of Francesco Toppi. Toppi was president of the Assemblies of God in Italy from 1978 to 2007. He was born in Rome on January 1, 1928. The author of this and numerous other books, he was editor of the fortnightly magazine "Cristiani Oggi." In 1948, he attended the International Bible Training Institute in Burgess Hill, England. He carried out his pastoral ministry in Southern Italy (1950-53) and, later, in Turin (1953-59). In 1961, he was elected pastor of the historic church in Rome - Via dei Bruzi, which he served as until 2007. He served as secretary, treasurer, and teacher of the Italian Biblical Institute for many years, and passed away on August 14, 2014.
