How "Woke" Lost It's Meaning

How "Woke" Lost It's Meaning... This aave term once stood for being aware of social and racial injustice, a term used within Black communities to signal a need for vigilance. Its origins can be traced to early 20th-century Black American culture, and its use in protest songs dates back to at least the 1930s. In 2025 this word has been colonized and now seems to be used slur towards black people & other oppressed minorities in America. It's time we reclaim this word... stay woke my people!
