This property is a newly constructed boutique resort in the heart of nature. And there are many peculiar things about this property which makes it different from a lot of alternatives in the country. We boast about wildlife conservation, but protecting wildlife takes more than just putting up an Instagram post about “Save the Tiger” Wildlife conservation. And today, we will show you a real-life example of what conservation means. Bijapur Lodge also offers curated safaris in Jawai for experiencing wildlife and nature. The quality of the furniture, the furnishings of the washroom, every little detail spoke for itself. And the size of the room was huge. The water supply was apt; the air conditioning was perfect. They also kept a lamp torch in the room, which is very useful during a safari and taking a walk on the property in the evening. When you come to places like these, one of the concerns is the food quality. And Bijapur Lodge has their in-house chef. The authentic Rajasthani-style food with the perfect hospitality of the hotel staff made the experience perfect. The chef would personally come to you after your meal to take feedback and would love to accommodate your preferences for the next meal. There is a dining room and a club room where you can come, relax and read books. You can even work if you want to for a while. When we went to this resort, we thought, if this is such a sustainable, environment-friendly property, why is there so much use of wood to make all furniture. Even the air conditioners were covered with wooden frames. And that’s why we asked the owners. They told us that the wood used in this property is more than 100 years old. Many abandoned Havelis in Gujarat have their old wood auctioned, which was bought by Bijapur lodge to manufacture all the furniture needed here. So overall, our experience at Bijapur lodge was the best of our wildlife experiences so far, thanks to the kind nature of the owners and the outstanding hospitality of the staff.
