第一話はここで   • 【公式】魔法のマコちゃん 第1話「初恋」　＜1970年代アニメ＞  『魔法のマコちゃん』は、昭和を彩る美少女アニメレジェンド。「だって年ごろなんですもの・・・わかって」がアタックNo1の「だって涙がでちゃう女の子なんだものの」と双璧をなしている　 　1970年11月2日から1971年9月27日まで、NET（現・テレビ朝日）系列で毎週月曜日19時 - 19時30分に全48話が放送された日本のテレビアニメ。『魔法使いサリー』、『ひみつのアッコちゃん』に続く「東映魔女っ子シリーズ」の第3作である。それまで漫画原作があった魔女っ子シリーズで、初の東映動画オリジナル企画作品である。アンデルセン童話の『人魚姫』をベースにしている。 　主題歌を歌ったのは当時13歳の堀江美都子で、堀江にとっては少女アニメ第1作であり、渡辺岳夫と組んだ最初の作品である。 　オープニングテーマ、エンディングテーマともに曲中にセリフがあることが特徴であり、オープニングテーマ冒頭の「どこからきたーンのおっ」という歌い方は「アクビ娘の歌」のように、シャクるように歌ってほしい」という渡辺の要望によるものとされている。 　ただ、疑問なのは、歌詞の一番で「何故、青い目に涙」との対比で「白い素足に血がにじむ」とあり、また3番では、何故あえて「赤いマフラーで涙をぬぐう」のかの因果関係、理由が、私にはどうしても理解できない。後者は、たまたま「ハンカチーフ」を持っていなかったという理解もできようが、美少女アニメのレジェンドたる一人が、そんな粗野というか、雑な行動をしていただいては困るのである。ということで、私のイメージソング(英語版)では、名作に対し、大変失礼かと思うが、変更を加えさせていただいている。・・・・といいつつも、この作品が「魔法のマコちゃん」世界を、堀江美都子さんの歌唱力とあいまって、美しく、しかも的確に彩っていることは、いうまでもない。もし私の疑問にこたえていただける方がいれば、これに増す幸いはない。なにせ、半世紀ものあいだ悩み続けている課題なのだ。(笑) "Magical Mako-chan" is a legend of the beautiful girl anime that colored the Showa era. Both the opening and ending themes are characterized by the inclusion of lines in the songs, and the opening theme's opening line, "Where did you come from?" is said to be due to Watanabe's request that it be sung in a jerky manner, like "Akubi Musume no Uta". However, what is puzzling is that in the first verse of the lyrics, "Why tears in blue eyes?" is contrasted with "Blood oozes from white bare feet", and in the third verse, I just can't understand the causal relationship or reason behind why he deliberately "wipes away tears with a red scarf". It could be understood that in the latter case, he just happened not to have a "handkerchief", but it would be rude or careless to see one of the legends of anime girls behave in such a rude or careless manner. So, I have made some changes to my image song (English version), even though I feel that it is very disrespectful to this masterpiece. That being said, it goes without saying that this work, combined with the singing ability of Ms. Mitsuko Horie, beautifully and accurately colors the world of "Magical Mako-chan".
