BAKE WITH ME//CARROT CINNAMON CAKE RECIPE

Recipe for a carrot Cinnamon cake -1kg Dry ingredients Wheat flour 280g Brown sugar 250g Ground cinnamon 2 tsp Salt ½ tsp Bicarbonate of soda ½ tsp Wet ingredients Carrots 300g Eggs 4 large Vegetable oil 180ml Vanilla extract 1 tsp Method 1. Preheat oven to 170°C. Grease and line an 8-inch round tin. Grate carrots and squeeze lightly to remove excess water. 2. In a big bowl, sieve the dry ingredients(wheat flour, cinnamon, salt, and bicarbonate of soda) apart from sugar and then whisk them together. 3. In another bowl, beat eggs, oil, vanilla, and brown sugar until combined 4.Pour wet into dry. Add grated carrots. Fold gently just until no flour streaks. Don’t overmix or it gets dense 5. Pour the cake butter into tin. Bake 50-60 min. Check at 50 min – skewer should come out with a few moist crumbs, not wet batter 6. let the cake sit for 15 min in tin, then turn out onto rack. Cool completely before frosting
