Over the past few years, I've toured several food festivals around the world. My followers may remember Picklesburg, the pickle festival in Pittsburgh, or Wing Fest in Bristol, entirely dedicated to chicken wings. This time, I returned to my beloved burgers, and the setting was the Media City Amphitheatre in Dubai. Seeing super-big names like Hundred Burgers, Burger & Beyond, and La Birra Bar all in one place was an incredible opportunity to see them in action; it was also a humbling experience, reminding me just how high the bar is outside our own four walls, both in terms of branding and product. These trips remind me how crucial it is to never stop looking around to evolve.
