CARPETING A VAN CONVERSION | 4-Way Stretch Carpet Lining | Ep 4 | Nissan NV200 Camper Van Build

In this video, I'll be showing how to apply 4-way stretch carpet to the inside of a van or camper to get a neat, professional finish. Thermawrap bubblewrap insulation: https://www.toolstation.com/ybs-gener... --- I carpeted the right side of the van first, and then the left side. Using Trimfix high temperature contact adhesive and plenty of sharp Stanley knife blades, I took my time glueing the carpet down and trimming it round the edge seals. I used smoke coloured 4 way stretch carpet which is available in 1.4m and 2m lengths. I had to use the 1.4m, despite the NV200 being a small panel van, as the 1.4m would not have been long enough when the contours of the van had been taken into account. The carpet stuck really well when I glued it over the Thermawrap bubblewrap insulation I had installed in my previous videos. By removing all of the fixtures, fittings and seatbelts before carpeting, I was able to tuck the carpet under and them and get a very clean, tidy and neat finish to the van carpet.
