Greece's Jewish Community: It was Nothing...It was Everything
The 1997 documentary "It Was Nothing...It Was Everything" highlights the near-total destruction of Greece's Jewish community during the Holocaust. Featuring archival footage, Ladino music, and interviews with both rescuers and survivors from Thessaloniki, Athens, Crete, and other regions, the film offers a poignant narrative of rescue efforts. Donated by Sy Rotter to the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum, this documentary is part of the museum’s permanent collection and has no access or use restrictions.
