Exploring Piran, Slovenia in 3 Hours | Hidden Gem on the Adriatic Coast

We only had a few hours to explore the stunning coastal city of Piran, Slovenia, but we’re so glad we made the stop! With its compact old town, charming streets, and unforgettable views, Piran is the perfect spot for a quick yet memorable visit. We started our spontaneous adventure in the afternoon with no real plan—just wandering the streets and following the locals. When we saw a group of people heading up a steep hill, we decided to follow... and we’re so glad we did! At the top, we entered the Walls of Piran for just a few euros, and the views from the top were absolutely worth the climb (even with a stroller!). From there, we headed down to explore the Church of St. George and its scenic observation deck, where we caught breathtaking views of the Adriatic Sea—and even the Italian coastline in the distance. We ended our visit with some amazing pasta in the main square before heading in for the night.
