Velos Lightning and GEMS Automatic Numbering Machines
(Sorry for the poor autofocus) Here are two automatic numbering machines, i.e. self-inking hand stamps that print increasing numbers. One is a Velos Lightning, made in England in the 1930s, and the other is by GEMS and is made in the Netherlands. Both have a selector switch to allow numbers to be printed 1, 2, 3 or 4 times before increasing. For more information about this and other machines in my collection, please visit my website: https://www.jaapsch.net/mechcalc/ 0:00 Introduction 0:20 History 2:24 Velos Lightning 6:42 GEMS 9:38 Outro
