On the first day of our car camping trip to Hyogo, we went to Glico Pia Kobe. The day before, snow had accumulated on the Shin-Meishin and Tomeishin Expressways, closing some areas, so we were hesitant to go, but the road closures were lifted in the afternoon of the day, so we decided to go. Although winter tires were prohibited on the highways along the way, we were able to drive without any problems on studless tires, our first time driving in my life. More than anything, I was surprised by the number of trucks on the roads on a weekday evening, and worried that we wouldn't be able to find a place to rest, but we were glad we managed to find one near our destination. Glico Pia Kobe's factory tour requires reservations, and our family made a reservation for the morning. We were surprised by the beautiful facility and cleanliness of the factory. We had a guide with us for the tour, who explained everything clearly from start to finish. We were very grateful for the kind and courteous service. There are some areas where photography is prohibited, so I can't show you everything, but I was impressed by the hidden technology behind the history of Glico and the manufacturing process of Pretz and Pocky, which I had never known before. It was free, but they even provided a guide and gave me two Pretzels as a souvenir, which was great!
