Zimbabwe's National Assembly has passed the Constitution of Zimbabwe Amendment No. 3 Bill — known as CAB3 — clearing the way for President Emmerson Mnangagwa to remain in power until 2030. 216 lawmakers voted in favour, past the 187 needed for a two-thirds majority. The bill now moves to the Senate. But the term extension is only part of the story.
