Mical was initially diagnosed with stage one prostate cancer at 37, which they learned after prostatectomy was an aggressive stage two. At the time of his diagnosis, he had no symptoms and he wouldn't have found out at an early stage if not for a guardian angel of a doctor who decided to include the PSA test in his regular blood work. Now, Mical uses his voice and story to advocate for prostate cancer awareness, especially in the black community and hopes to help mend medical mistrust.
