Hiking Mam Tor and the Great Ridge
Nestled within Derbyshire's Peak District the village of Castleton is the start point for our most challenging walk to date. Accompanied once again by my wife Tracey we take on more climbing, rough terrain and steep descending to help build her confidence. Also joining us for this hike is our son Aiden, together we take on Back Tor before descending back to Castleton covering a total distance of 11 km with an elevation gain of 438 m.
