Boston Critical Mass for May

This is Boston's critical mass ride that happens on the last Friday of every month. It's mainly a protest to take back space over the streets from cars, who usually get the majority of the space. By having a large number of cyclists, there's enough people that they can take over the majority of space on the roads. It's also a lot of fun just to have that many people riding, hanging out and listening to music. The atmosphere is relaxed since there's safety in numbers and we don't have to worry about cars buzzing us. If you get a chance to go to one, I highly recommend it. It's very welcoming and accessible for people of all ages and abilities. I'm riding my Co-Motion gravel bike here.
