Prophet T. B. Joshua is just one of those who have humbly submitted to the will of God (Isaiah 6:8). Born on June 12th, 1963, in Ondo State, Nigeria, his journey is a humbling story of how God raised a young man from a poverty home to lead an international ministry that would attract thousands worldwide to witness the reality of God’s power today! From dropping out of secondary school in his first year to working in a poultry farm; from teaching little children while attending evening classes to washing people’s legs on the muddy streets of Lagos; from a forty-day fast to receiving a divine call and starting a ministry with a mere eight members – the life of T. B. Joshua is a story of amazing grace and unwavering focus. In 1987, He visited a prayer mountain to seek the face of God, where he fasted and prayed for 40 days and 40 nights. Ιn a vision, he had received divine anointing and a covenant from God to start his ministry. In his own words, he said concerning the life-changing experience. "I saw a hand that pointed a Bible to my heart. The Bible entered my heart and my former heart seemed to immerse with the Bible immediately… I heard a voice saying, ‘I am your God. I am giving you a divine commission to go and carry out the work of the Heavenly Father… I would show you the wonderful ways I would reveal myself through you in teaching, preaching, miracles, signs and wonders for the salvation of souls”. On 05/06/2021, Prophet T. B. Joshua spoke during the Emmanuel TV Partners Meeting: “Time for everything – time to come here for prayer and time to return home after the service”. God took His servant Prophet T. B. Joshua home – as it should be by divine will. His last moments on earth were spent in the service of God. This is what I was born for, lived for and died for. He said, “The greatest way to use life is to spend it on something that will outlive it”. Prophet T. B. Joshua left a legacy of service and sacrifice to God’s Kingdom that is living for generations yet unborn. Here are his last words: “WATCH AND PRAY"🙏. “One life for Christ is all we have; one life for Christ is so dear.” We pray you will be inspired in your journey of faith!
