Achara and Steph watch the gritty and intense World War II movie, Fury, for the first time! A battle-hardened tank crew led by a tough sergeant fights against overwhelming odds in the final days of World War II. Fury was directed by David Ayer (End of Watch, Suicide Squad, Training Day). The main cast includes Brad Pitt (Fight Club, Inglourious Basterds, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood) as Don “Wardaddy” Collier, a hardened tank commander leading his crew through the final days of World War II. Shia LaBeouf (Transformers, Honey Boy, Lawless) plays Boyd “Bible” Swan, the crew’s deeply religious gunner. Logan Lerman (Percy Jackson & The Olympians: The Lightning Thief, The Perks of Being a Wallflower, Bullet Train) portrays Norman Ellison, a young and inexperienced soldier thrust into the brutal realities of war. Michael Peña (End of Watch, Ant-Man, Crash) stars as Trini “Gordo” Garcia, the tank’s skilled driver. Jon Bernthal (The Punisher, The Wolf of Wall Street, Baby Driver) plays Grady “Coon-Ass” Travis, the rough and battle-scarred loader. Jason Isaacs (Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, The Death of Stalin, The Patriot) has a supporting role as Captain Waggoner, a high-ranking officer coordinating the war effort. Fury delivers a raw and visceral depiction of war, showcasing the bonds between soldiers and the psychological toll of relentless combat.
