The document's upload, recorded in the early hours of July 13th, sparked various speculations and even prompted comments from digital forensics expert Josua Sinambela. Through his personal Facebook account, Josua uploaded a screenshot of Roy Suryo's dissertation metadata located on repository.unj.ac.id. The document is listed as "Thesis (Doctoral)" and titled "The Influence of Empowerment and Emotional Intelligence on Innovation and Its Implications for the Organizational Citizenship Behavior of BPJS Kesehatan Employees." The metadata also indicates the document is in the Postgraduate Doctoral Program in Management Science with the Depositing User: KRMT Roy Suryo Notodiprojo. Meanwhile, the Deposited and Last Modified Dates were both recorded as July 13, 2026, at 3:32 a.m. WIB. Responding to this finding, Josua suspected that the dissertation PDF document had only recently been uploaded to the campus repository. "The PDF was only recently created, and of course, the dissertation repository administrator had just uploaded it," Josua wrote. He then suggested that the document's appearance was related to panic among certain parties on campus. "It seems like someone at UNJ is panicking. They're trying to manipulate their favorite student, who should have been expelled or had his student status revoked since he was convicted according to the rector's regulations," he said. Josua also touched on Roy Suryo's academic journey to finally obtain his doctorate. He offered a dig at the former Minister of Youth and Sports under President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY). "I don't know how he managed to graduate. This former minister is really cool. Let's laugh a little," he said. Furthermore, Josua questioned the appropriateness of Roy Suryo's dissertation topic with his long-standing image as a telematics expert. "By the way, from the title alone, I wonder where in the telematics section is it?" he concluded. Previously, Roy Suryo had strongly denied allegations that his doctoral degree was invalid.
