Midsummer Rain in Bergen | Atmospheric 4K City Walk | Binaural Rain Sounds for Relaxation

It is June and rain falls over Bergen, Norway. Despite the clock approaching midnight, the city is still bathed in the soft glow of a Nordic midsummer evening as the darkness of night finally arrives. In this atmospheric 4K walking tour, we explore Bergen during one of the year's longest days, as steady rain falls across quiet streets, glowing windows, and wet cobblestones. The walk begins near Fløibanen, where narrow alleys, historic buildings, and a handful of lively bars provide a gentle contrast to the otherwise peaceful city. It is Pride Month in Bergen, and colourful flags move softly in the rain. From the hillside streets beneath Mount Fløyen, we make our way through the city centre and across to the historic peninsula of Nordnes. Along the way, we wander through hidden alleyways, quiet residential streets, and rain-soaked passages where the sounds of rainfall, distant conversations, and footsteps echo between old wooden houses. As the evening progresses, the rain becomes heavier and the city grows increasingly still. Most of Bergen has already gone to sleep, leaving only a few late-night pub visitors and occasional passers-by moving through the damp streets. Warm lights glow behind windows while reflections shimmer across the pavement, creating the calm and intimate atmosphere that makes rainy nights in Bergen so special. The walk eventually returns to the harbour and the famous Fish Market, where the rain continues to fall over the quiet waterfront as the city settles into the early hours of the morning.
