Back before "9-11" you could sit in the "jump seat" (the extra seat in the cockpit) and get an extra special view during landing. And if you had a video camera, like my dad did back then, you could video it. Apologies for the poor quality video (VHS in the 80's) and my dad's inflight commentary...
