Remembering the Ogoni 4 and 9: Toward Reconciliation

The Guru’s Special Guest in the studio this week Monday is Suage Badey, from Ogoni land of Rivers State. Thirty years ago, Ogoni land shot into prominence - albeit notoriously, when Ken Saro-Wiwa, and 8 other Ogoni men, were executed by the Military Junta, having been found guilty by a Military Tribunal of being responsible for the brutal killing (by mob) of another Ogoni 4 - Albert Badey, Edward Kobani, Samuel Orage and Theophilus Orage. Suage Badey, my Guest this week is the son of Albert Badey, one of the Ogoni Four (4). And the discussion, in the studio, as The Guru engaged his Guest this week, gave hope for total reconciliation between the Ogoni 4 and the Ogoni 9, in anticipation of bringing Peace back to Ogoni land.
