Lezione n. 23: Il Quattrocento: nascita dell'Umanesimo
#UNINETTUNO Italian Literature Course. Course Description The course involves the study and analysis of the development of Italian literature, from the courtly and chivalric poetry of the 13th century to the Decadent movement of the late 19th and early 20th centuries. This development is continually intertwined with other European literatures, as well as with issues concerning the literary audience, the diffusion and success of certain genres, and the social role of the writer and poet. Particular attention will therefore be paid to Francesco Petrarca, Dante Alighieri, and Giovanni Boccaccio, three key figures in the Italian and European literary tradition. Through this course, students will gain an understanding of literature in its historical development, the personalities who primarily animated it, and the texts that remain fundamental stages in its development. Video Teachers Prof. Marco Santagata - University of Pisa (Pisa - Italy) Prof. Giuseppe Leonelli - Roma Tre University (Rome - Italy)
