Top Half Guard, Part 5: Lockdown to Reverse Half Guard

I've heard the position called a few different names, including "switch base half guard" and "hip switch half guard." Regardless of the name, it can be a very effective way to neutralize a lot of your opponent's half guard offense. In this video we're going to show one path into reverse half guard, specifically one that transitions out of the Lockdown and into reverse half guard. The next several videos in this series will then be offense that you can launch into from reverse half guard, both submissions and passes. This is a multi-part video series covering the top half guard position in extreme depth. If you're looking to level up your top half guard game, make sure to watch the entire playlist!
