Inspired by the legendary Green Ringer, this octave-up fuzz sings when you play high on the neck, gets ring-mod weird on chords, and tracks best on your neck pickup with the tone rolled back. A transistor phase-splitter (2N3906) hands two mirrored copies of your signal to a pair of BAT41 diodes, which flip the negative half and recombine — doubling the frequency and generating that ghostly octave-up. A second gain stage piles on the fuzz, and a variable high-pass Tone control lets you keep it glassy or roll off the low end.
