Tsuchiya was the leader of Ippudo in the '80s, known for their hit song "Sumire September Love." He moved to London in 1990 and, while pursuing his solo career, produced a variety of artists, including Koizumi Kyoko, Fujii Takayuki, and THE BLANKEY JET CITY. Then, in December, he formed the band Vitamin-Q with Kato Kazuhiko, Ohara Rei, and Yashiki Gota.
