Edmonton Minus One St Patrick dance with Hwy 45 Band Feb 14, 2026

Long time musicians from NE of Edmonton along Hwy 45 are playing at the St Patrick's Day dance at the Minus One club which is open to all. Dennis Kinasewich, Bill Yacey, and Dwayne Kushniruk traveled between Andrew, Hairy Hll, and Myrnam in their younger days. The accordion player Dwayne often plays with Calvin Volrath's Swing Band. Dennis put this band together and we have seen him and Bill Yacey in various places in Alberta. They played a huge variety of dance tunes. One of my favourites was a Straus waltz. I overlaid the background for the waterfall with another polka.
