Canon EOS R6 Overheating Fixed? Our Results After Firmware 1.1.1 well, we've had a lot of people ask us to do more testing of the Canon EOS R6 in regards to overheating with firmware 1.1.1. SO that's just what we did and I must say that we got some fairly positive results. The Canon EOS R6 firmware has definitely helped in making sure that the Canon EOS R6 takes into effect the ambient temperature as well as most likely the cameras internal temperature. With the Canon EOS R6 being able to shoot longer and to recover much quicker. And with some form of external cooling, the Canon EOS R6 can pretty much record indefinitely. Very nice.
