Uang Rp850 Juta Milik Agen Bank Dirampok, Pelaku Sempat Hamburkan Uang Saat Kabur

KOMPAS.TV The robbery of Rp 850 million (approximately US$85,000) belonging to a state-owned bank agent in Cirebon Regency, West Java, garnered public attention after footage of the incident circulated widely on social media. CCTV footage shows two perpetrators riding a motorcycle allegedly following the victim since withdrawing money from a bank in Indramayu. The victim, unaware of his target, stopped at a food stall. As the victim left the vehicle, the two perpetrators immediately sprang into action, grabbing a bag containing Rp 850 million in cash stored in the car. Realizing the bag had been taken, the victim immediately screamed and tried to chase the perpetrators. To hinder the pursuit of residents and the victim, the perpetrators scattered some of the stolen money onto the street. This action caused residents in the area to scatter and pick up the scattered cash. Following the incident, police from the Kaliwedi Police, Sukagumiwang Police, and Cirebon City Police immediately processed the crime scene and collected evidence, including fingerprints found on the victim's vehicle.
