Poverty continues to severely impact the population of Argentina, where, despite the Milei government having lifted 12 million citizens out of this situation, it is estimated that more than half of the population remains poor. In Los Piletones, a working-class neighborhood on the outskirts of Buenos Aires, the soup kitchen has been an essential refuge for people barely making ends meet for nearly 30 years.
