Граничные условия в задачах гидродинамики в COMSOL Multiphysics

A complete mathematical model of physical processes based on differential equations must contain uniqueness conditions, namely boundary and initial conditions. Only with the correct formulation of boundary conditions can a unique and correct solution to the problem be obtained. Each physical interface in COMSOL Multiphysics provides a wide range of boundary condition options, the use of which greatly simplifies and speeds up the configuration of computational models. However, it is important to remember that incorrect boundary conditions can lead to erroneous simulation results or loss of solution convergence. In this webinar, we will discuss issues related to setting boundary conditions in computational fluid dynamics problems, talk about the options implemented in COMSOL, and explain what to do if the physical interface you are using does not have the boundary condition you need. In addition, we will discuss special conditions for the external and internal boundaries of the computational domain, in which concentrated models of various hydraulic elements (Internal Wall, Screen, Fan, Grille) are implemented. You will learn how to specify conditions at the inlet and outlet boundaries of the computational domain, including in the equations for energy and mass transfer, as well as how to model a spatially unbounded computational domain. All the features and capabilities presented in the webinar are implemented in COMSOL Multiphysics version 5.6.
