Butter Chicken Recipe | LIVE: Magimix Cook Expert Cookalong

Enjoy this easy Butter Chicken Recipe by Vanessa made on the Magimix Cook Expert! Ingredients: 2cm ginger 3 cloves garlic 1 brown onion, halved 2 Tbsp sunflower oil 1 tsp ground turmeric ½ tsp ground coriander ½ tsp sugar 2 tsp sea salt 2 Tbsp Kasundi 100g pure cream 80g tomato paste 600g chicken thigh fillets Method Place garlic, onion and ginger in metal bowl. On EXPERT, PULSE until finely chopped. Add oil. EXPERT 2min 30 secs, Speed 3, 110 degrees. Take cap off. Add Kasundi, tomato paste, cream and spices (turmeric, coriander, sugar and salt). Mix on speed 3 for 15 secs. Add chicken. EXPERT 10mins, 1A, 110 degrees. When finished, check if chicken is cooked through. If undercooked, only add 2 mins at a time to avoid overcooking. Serve on rice, zoodles, or with naan bread. -- Vanessa's Kasundi Recipe: Ingredients: 2 Tbsp vegetable oil 1 tbsp yellow mustard seeds 2 tbsp cumin 1 tbsp ground turmeric 2 tbsp chilli powder 3cm fresh ginger, peeled 3 cloves garlic 1 red chilli (use green for extra hot) deseeded 800g tin tomatoes ½ cup malt vinegar 3 tbsp brown sugar 1 tsp salt Method: Heat oil in metal bowl for 2min/110/sp 3 Add mustard seeds, cumin, turmeric & chilli powder. Remove cap. 4min/110/Sp 5 Add ginger, garlic & chilli and PULSE, scrape down bowl & repeat if required. 3min/110/sp3 Add all remaining ingredients & cook for 60min/100/sp3 with cap still removed. Set aside to cool. Will store in fridge for 2 weeks, or sterilised unopened jars for 2mths. Alternatively freeze in ice cube trays & used as required.
