The Football Club That Went To North Korea Pretending To Be Brazil

In 2009, after qualifying for the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa, the North Korean national team played a friendly game in front of 80,000 fans at the Kim Il-sung Stadium in Pyongyang. The spectators who witnessed that 0-0 draw believed that the DPRK were playing against Brazil, when in actual fact, their opponents were a team who competed in the second tier of Sao Paulo's state championship.
