The sidewalk had not been cleared in over 6 years and behind the lawn was a surprise

Today we cleaned a sidewalk that was covered with grass, blocking the way. People said that this sidewalk had not been cleaned for more than 6 years, the grass dried up in the summer, and continued to grow back in the rainy season. We found many used syringes that people threw directly onto the grass on the sidewalk, a lot of inorganic waste that we collected in 2 bags and brought to the nearby trash can. After cleaning a grass that covered the entire sidewalk, it was clear that many cars were parked right on the sidewalk, completely blocking the way, people had to walk down the street. People asked us who hired us to clean, we answered that we were volunteers to clean the sidewalk and they just smiled and left. As usual, we clean the grass, sort the inorganic waste into the trash, then dump the grass and organic waste into the wasteland to decompose. I do not put the grass in the trash because it will be overloaded and difficult for the garbage collectors. We can only contribute a small part to help the community.
