Hi, we're Jane and Rory, and this is the story of how we bought a crumbling 19th-century French château and decided to restore it ourselves. Château de Pican, our home in South West France, had been abandoned for over a decade when we found it. What followed was equal parts dream, disaster, and "what on earth have we done?" 🏰 ABOUT JANE AND RORY AND CHÂTEAU DE PICAN Every Thursday, we (Jane and Rory) document real renovation progress at Château de Pican — no professional tradespeople doing it off camera, no TV magic. Just the two of us, occasional visits from friends and family and a trio of spaniels getting comprehensively in the way. You might know us as Rory and Jane from Château DIY on Channel 4.
