Lost Driver 3.0 Surfboard Review
Ian reviews the Lost Driver 3.0: https://www.boardshop.co.uk/brands/lo... Biolos is back at it! Forever pushing and developing boards, the latest surfboard from the mind of Matt Biolos of Lost Surfboards, here we have the Lost Driver 3.0. The Driver 3.0 has come from Lost's entry into the latest iteration of STAB's high performance surfboard testing series, Stab In The Dark. Under the feet of the tube rider, wave carving world tour surfer, Jack Robinson, this board, in the eyes of many was the best board, but by the finest of margins it finished second. It is evident from watching the footage and hearing Jack talk about the Driver 3.0 that this board has speed, drive and the ability to turn hard and pretty much go wherever you want it to instantly. Yes, this is a shortboard at heart with performance in mind, but this should not be feared. The dimensions are not scary, and the outline and rocker do have user friendly elements. Similar to the Driver 2.0, in some respects, the 3.0 model has a rocker that is synonymous with the Driver series of surfboards, delivering instant speed on tap. The tail profile is a touch more pulled in, not by much, but this gives you the ability to dig into your turns and push the limits on this board. The user-friendly features come from foam being distributed centrally and then foiling out to the rails, giving you paddle speed and wave entry without losing any performance. You will want to use the Driver 3.0 in waves from just over waist high to way over head, it will really suit a cupped-out bowling wave, or a bigger open-faced wave with power. If you surf from a decent, to very good level, you can jump on this board and have incredible fun. Why not see if you agree with Mr Robinson and give this board a go. It will not let you down if you are searching for performance, speed and progression. Don't forget you can also order a custom version of this board choosing your exact dims, fin set up and fin system, check out our customizer service at Boardshop right now. All you need to do is pump in the details and pay a deposit with the balance due when we send you the board. Boardshop is stoked to be a key partner for Lost surfboards across Europe and beyond. The staff here have surfed pretty much every board in the range at some time or another and we speak to surfers from all over the world and get their feedback on how the boards perform in all sorts of conditions, so we're well placed to talk about all aspects of Lost Surfboards. We're happy to consider trading in your old board against a new board, so If you have any questions about this we'd be delighted to answer them and advise on any potential board choices or enquiries you might have, just drop us an email to [email protected] or call us on 0044 (0) 1243 674250.
