Geoff Bodenham - Live at the Lion O' Morfe (Date Unknown)

Geoff Bodenham was known as a teacher, councillor, publican, and also a folk singer. He was well known for his two album releases 'A Class of his Own' & 'Two sides of Geoff Bodenham' as well as Radio and Television appearances, and for being half of the duo 1812 alongside flautist Derek Craft. This recording is of a live show that took place at the Lion O'Morfe pub in Bridgnorth, though the date is unknown. A member of the folk club recorded the show on a tape recorder purchased from boots, as such the sound is not professionally recorded, but hopefully enjoyable none the less. This album is hosted here by kind permission of Helen & Joan Bodenham, alongside Paul Matthews who made the original recording, the purpose is to help preserve the work and memory of Geoff Bodenham for those who knew him, and the English Folk community at large on which he left an indelible mark.
