In a matchup of the two top teams in District 7-4A, Kimball used a stout defense and big-play offense to beat Lincoln 41-9 at Kincaide Stadium on Thursday night. Kimball's (4-2, 3-0) opportunistic defense came out hot when they recovered a muffed punt in the endzone to start the scoring. After holding Lincoln (4-2, 2-1) to a field goal, the Kimball defense forced another fumble. Kimball used a 10-play drive culminating in a Rashawn Parker 2-yard run to go in the half 14-3. After two punts from both squads to start the third quarter, Kimball found the momentum again when quarterback Armirie Williams-Hall found wide receiver Xaiver Hampton for a 62-yard catch and run. Not to be outdone, the defense forced another fumble. Later, the defense finished the night off with a blocked field goal that Juan-Milleon Aguilar returned for 87 yards end zone visit. Williams-Hall ended the night with 182 yards through the air and one rushing touchdown.
