The five dams were built with a total contract value of IDR 9.79 trillion. The five dams inaugurated are: 1. Meninting Dam has a storage capacity of 9.91 million cubic meters with a catchment area of ​​46.16 hectares; 2. Keureuto Dam in North Aceh Regency, Aceh Province, has a storage capacity of 215.94 million cubic meters with a catchment area of ​​896.39 hectares; 3. 3. The Rukoh Dam in Pidie Regency, Aceh Province, has a storage capacity of 128.65 million cubic meters with a catchment area of ​​700 hectares; 4. The Jlantah Dam in Karanganyar Regency, Central Java Province, has a storage capacity of 10.97 million cubic meters with a catchment area of ​​50 hectares; and 5. The Sidan Dam in Gianyar Regency, Bali Province, has a storage capacity of 5.76 million cubic meters with a catchment area of ​​37.15 hectares. In general, these five dams have four main functions: supporting irrigation services covering an area of ​​39,540 hectares and providing raw water at a rate of 3.6 cubic meters per second. In addition, these dams also function to control flooding, especially in areas downstream from the dam, and to provide energy. In his report, Minister of Public Works (PU), Dody Hanggodo, stated that the five dams were built between 2015 and 2025. According to the Minister, the construction of these dams not only provides infrastructure but also builds the foundation of national sovereignty. "Through these five dams, Sir, you have encouraged national independence in supporting your Asta Cita (Principal Goals), particularly regarding food security, energy security, and water security," said the Minister. The presence of these five dams is part of the government's efforts to build irrigation infrastructure in various regions across Indonesia. In his remarks, the President expressed his gratitude for the infrastructure development, which required considerable time, money, and resources. "I am grateful that I was able to inaugurate these dams. But my predecessors have all contributed.
