Sheffield: Cyclops Steel Works
The Camel and the Cyclops - Charles Cammell formed one of the world's largest iron and steel companies at his Cyclops Steel Works in Sheffield, England, on the back of the world's 19th century love affair with railways. His company went on to provide Royal Navy warships and cruise liners. Railways around the world still use Metro-Cammell rolling stock.
