Exumas boat life, Bahamas cruising, Nassau diesel, Highbourne Cay, Norman’s Cay, snorkeling, sandbars, foiling, and liveaboard life on a Nordhavn 55: this episode is full of empty anchorages, wild blue water, reef critters, and just enough chaos to keep things interesting. After dropping off our friends and fueling up in Nassau, we wasted zero time getting back to the Exumas and dropped anchor at Highbourne Cay with only four other boats around, which, compared to the usual floating circus, felt downright suspicious. From there it’s hull cleaning, E-foiling practice, hidden sandbars, hidden beaches, a stop at a beautiful national park spot for a picnic, and snorkel dives loaded with reef fish and healthy coral life. You’ll spot a Yellow Stingray, a massive Caribbean King Crab, Social Feather Duster Worms, coral heads full of fish, and one very committed Barracuda stalker. Basically, if you like liveaboard life, Bahamas travel, Exuma anchorages, snorkeling adventures, and real-world Nordhavn cruising with a little salt, sweat, and nonsense mixed in, this one’s for you.
