In this video I talk about magnesium sulfate: why we use it in the garden, what role it plays for the leaf, photosynthesis and the general condition of the plant. I explain in simple words why magnesium is important for apple trees, pears, berries and vegetable crops, how a magnesium deficiency can manifest itself, and why you shouldn't wait until the leaf starts to turn yellow. I also show our working dosages in the video: orchard / apple tree: 100–140 g per 10 l of water; our barrel: 3.5 kg per 250 l of water; per hectare: 7 kg/ha with an outflow of 500 l/ha; berries: 50–70 g per 10 l, if necessary up to 80–100 g; vegetables: 50–100 g per 10 l of water. I will explain separately why it is better not to mix magnesium sulfate with calcium preparations, when it is better to apply it, and why it is not a “magic pill”, but a normal working tool in the nutrition system.
