In July, we were back on our bikes. This time, our tour took us through Tyrol, Vorarlberg, and the Allgäu region, covering 580 km and 10,000 meters of elevation gain. Day 4 takes us from Schruns past Bludenz and through the Großes Walsertal valley. We continue over the Faschinajoch pass to Schoppernau, where we begin Day 5. First, we enter the Hoher Ifen nature reserve, where we enjoy magnificent views of the Allgäu Alps. We stop in Oberstdorf for coffee and cake. Then we cycle around the surprisingly beautiful Rottachsee lake and finally arrive in the charming town of Nesselwang. Throughout the entire tour through Tyrol, Vorarlberg, and the Allgäu, you can expect highlights such as the Silvretta High Alpine Road, the Großes Walsertal valley, the Karwendel mountains, the Isar river, views of the Zugspitze, the Claudia Augusta Cycle Path, and stunning lakes.
