Second episode of my show: Vintage Football Today marks the 39th anniversary of what should have been a celebration, but instead turned into a tragedy waiting to happen. The decision to hold an event of that magnitude in an unsuitable, old, and dilapidated stadium, the notorious violence of the hooligans, combined with the inexperience, lack of coordination, and incompetence of the few law enforcement officers present, contributed to turning a sporting event into carnage. I report the chronology of what happened, documents from the time, interviews, and testimonies, so that such a tragedy can never happen again.
