May 23, 2026, Kashima Ward, Minamisoma City The Vice-Commander's procession departs from Nagata Jinya and proceeds to Kitago Jinya. The Vice-Commander, along with the Samurai Generals and Vice-Military Advisors, and other samurai officers and conch shell bearers, line up to welcome the Commander-in-Chief. Next, a messenger on horseback carries the Commander-in-Chief from Nagata Jinya into Kitago Jinya. The Soma Nagareyama Dance is performed at the Kitago Jinya venue.
