Halfmoon Creek Leadville Colorado Shortened Version

Footage starting near then end of Halfmoon Creek two lane road and ending at the Gate just before the Mill 4:28 First steep section plus a bit of a gatekeeper for those with low ground clearence 4:59 Nice view of a waterfall on the left. You can hear the creek running water for much of the route 5:57 Parking lot right at the first creek crossing 10:28 off camber section unless you opt to cut the ciorner and place your driver side tires on top of the jagged rocks in the middle 12:30 Coming out of the timber for the first time in a few miles! Great views 13:10 Water runoff crossing! less than a foot deep during this drive though there are a lot of sharp rocks to drive over for 30 yards so be aired down! 16:15 Coming out of the timber a second time, again with amazing views all around 24:33 If the creek is low enough on the left this is probably the BEST tent camping site for epic views in this part off Colorado 27:00 The End (for me) at the Closed gate!
