Boroondara’s New Xtreme GenVs

Hello in recent times majority of the Boroondara fleet has been upgraded, Boroondara upgrades there fleet every 5-7 years or so this year the fleet of 16 council trucks had seen loads of new faces walk through the door and the others out. The fleet sports your usual Bucher GenV on the Acco, but has 5 of these Xtreme GenVs. An Xtreme GenV under go a trial in Boroondara about a year ago Council really liked it do to its smaller wheel base which would become handy in inner city areas such as Hawthorn etc. It also had larger compaction force which meant more bins less loads and of course come with the optional X-tend-a slide and no visors probably due to them breaking off so much. Once heating about this I quickly went down too Boroondara and was greeted by these two friendly drivers here we see TRK125 on garbage and TRK126 on greens 2 of the 5 Xtreme Side loaders . Thanks to both drivers for being ok with the vids. For now I’m done in Boroondara but could always come back if something happens.
