Should You Cut Healthy Tomato Leaves?

Trimming the bottom leaves that come into contact with the soil, can get "soil splash", and are just too thick to allow air flow can all cause problems down the road. Remember that leaves are your tomato's solar panels though, and don't remove too many when they are young, or they may not get enough energy to flower and produce fruit.
