Chico library shooting kills 2, suspect in custody
A shooting inside the Butte County Library in Chico left 2 people dead and a juvenile hospitalized with minor injuries just after 5 p.m. Chico Police Chief Billy Aldridge says 1 suspect is in custody and there is no further threat to the public, though the investigation — now involving the FBI, Butte County Sheriff's Office, and California Highway Patrol — is expected to continue for several days.
