Today we're going to be reviewing my Ernie Ball Music Man Bongo, specifically the model from the September 2020 Ball Family Reserve (BFR) collection. Featuring an all Honduran mahogany construction, a gorgeous matte honeyburst finish, and a powerful and flexible set of electronics, the Music Man Bongo is Ernie Ball's most 'deluxe' instrument to date. The Bongo bass also has a very interesting history as it was designed by BMW in the late 90's/early 2000's. Does this bass still hold up today? Let's find out!
