Skip ahead to 9:32 to start on embellishments if you choose not to crochet. Crochet Pattern in UK Crochet terms: I used a 6mm crochet hook. Chunky knitting yarn and a mixture of double knitting yarn that I turned into chunky by doubling it up. You can be creative with this and use your own colours, type of yarn and crochet hook size 1. Create a slipknot around your hook with your chunky yarn 2. Chain 4 single crochet stitches 3. Join the first and fourth stitch with a slip stitch to create a loop 4. Chain 3 which will be your first double crochet stitch 5. Chain 2 double crochet into the loop (3dc) 6. Chain 3 stitches 7. Chain 3 double crochet into the loop (9sts so far) 8. Chain 3 stitches 9. Chain 3 double crochet into the loop (15sts so far) 10.Chain 3 stitches 11. Chain 3 double crochet into the loop (21sts) 12. Chain 3 (24) 13. Slip stitch add in new colour and repeat the process Keep doing this the same all the way around until the square reaches the size you want it to. When you reach your chosen size, use another colour and chain single crochet all the way around to finish.
